Finchley Osteopaths in Finchley North London treat back pain, sciatica, neck pain, sport injuries, pain in pregnancy, foot orthotics and many more. We have been caring for patients, their families and friends since 1988. Most of our patients are referred by 'word of mouth' as well as their GPs and Consultants. Our services include private referral for further investigations, eg: MRI scan; X-ray; Ultrasound scan; and blood tests; as well as Orthopaedic opinions.
Consultations are by appoinment only, although we endeavour to see patients on the same day, especially in acute cases.
The practice is conveniently located with ample parking.

The principal Osteopath, Tendy Togelang BSc (Hons) Psych DO (UK), and his colleague, Nonica Papageorgiou PG Dip M.Ost(Dist) (UK) are registered with the General Osteopathic Council and are members of the Institute of Osteopathy. All practitioners regularly attend post-graduate courses, seminars, etc. as part of their continuing professional development.
For over 30 years, Tendy has been caring for thousands of patients from the very young to the very old. He trained at the British School of Osteopathy, the oldest and largest school in the UK. He also holds a BSc in Psychology and has completed several post-graduate Acupuncture courses.
The various conditions he treats include: the usual aches and pains; RSI; arthritis; trapped nerves; sports injuries; and neuro-musculo-skeletal pains in pregnancy. If indicated, he uses ultrasound and acupuncture. He advises on diet and posture, as well as prescribing orthotics (foot arch support) and rehabilitative exercises.
During his clinical career Tendy has been on the council of the past British Osteopathic Association (now is the Institute of Osteopathy) and a commitee member of the past General Council and Register of Osteopaths (which is now the General Osteopathic Council).
Nonica graduated with Distinction in Masters of Osteopathic Medicine from The University College of Osteopathy (Formerly The British School of Osteopathy). She graduated with a first in her year and received consecutive awards for best overall academic performance for second, third and final years.
Nonica is a deeply caring osteopath who has experience working with people of different ages and walks of life. She has experience treating a wide variety of neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions, and her management is specifically tailored towards the patient's needs.
Prior to her career as an osteopath, Nonica was a professional ballet and contemporary dancer. She trained at the Greek National Ballet and London Contemporary Dance School and performed internationally for 11 years. Her passion for osteopathy began to develop after receiving osteopathic treatments for injuries as an elite performer. As an osteopath, Nonica uses her experiences and advanced understanding of body movement and mobility to assess and treat patients. Also giving her a natural interest and ability in treating dancers.
Ruby graduated with a Masters of Osteopathic medicine from The University College of Osteopathy. She is passionate about treating a wide range of patients from the young to the elderly.
Ruby has experience treating sports injuries in marathon runners, golfers and climbers; repetitive strain injuries and neck pain in office workers; low back pain in pregnant women; and growing pains in children. Her breadth of experience makes her adept at treating all manners of ailments including: sciatica, low back pain, headaches, hip pain, arthritis, and knee pain, to name but a few.
Ruby's interest in osteopathy began after benefiting from treatment as a child. With a keen interest in nutrition and fitness she leads an active lifestyle enjoying running, yoga, tai chi, bouldering and cycling. Ruby aims to enhance her patient's resilience, wellbeing and ability to live a more active and personally fulfilling life.
Adela trained initially as a Physiotherapist in the Czech Republic some 25 years ago and has been a Massage Therapist for many years since, working in 3 European countries before making UK her home.
She completed courses in Swedish Holistic Massage, Sports Massage, Deep tissue Massage, On Chair Massage, Trigger point Therapy Massage, etc and has an ITEC level 3 diploma. Adela particularly pays attention to her clients' individual needs, applying strength when needed or a gentler approach as required.
Adela has settled in London for 21 years now, with two teenage children and is very happy to join the Finchley Osteopaths team. She also sees clients at the University of Hertfordshire.
Adela believes that regular massage should be part of people's healthy lifestyle to maintain optimal physical as well as mental attributes. It is her experience and that of her clients' that massage is a vital regeneration as well as providing general wellbeing and that is why Adela wants to promote this to as wide an audience as possible.
