Education
Sam graduated with a Master's Degree in Osteopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM). Previously, he studied Human Biology at Oxford Brooke's University where he received a certificate of Higher Education. Sam is fascinated in the field of psychosomatics and how thoughts and emotions can impact people's perception of pain. Sam believes in looking at every individual through a psychosocial lens in order to better reduce pain and restore health.
Career
Sam has worked in a number of clinics giving him experience in treating a variety of different people such as elite sportsmen, teenagers, office workers and the elderly. He has a particular interest in elderly patients, recognising the unique challenges they face as they age. Sam's approach focuses on enhancing mobility and reducing pain by addressing the physical and functional changes that occur with aging.
Professional Achievements
Sam is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a proud member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Sam comes from a sporting background, particularly in tennis which he played for 16 years. He has represented Maccabi Great Britain in Berlin in 2015 and in Israel in 2017. So he is familiar with all sort of sports related injuries.
